Ghoulish Blu-ray Release and Sleepaway Updates

HAPPY HALLOWEEN Season Campers! We're gonna kick things off this season with the Blu-ray/DVD release of GHOULISH starring "Angela" herself Felissa Rose (as a psychiatrist of all things!!). The Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo is NOW AVAILABLE for purchase. CLICK HERE for details! SLEEPAWAY CAMP III: TEENAGE WASTELAND's Daryl "Riff" Wilcher also has a role in the movie as a suburban pimp! If you're looking for a few extra SHOCKS this Halloween, GHOULISH is your ticket for taboo tricks and treats beyond the grave…. This is not a movie for everyone as it deals with controversial true crime subject matter and the movie is released in its UNRATED form. With the popularity of true-crime-themed horror shows like MAKING A MURDERER and MINDHUNTER on NETFLIX, now is the time for GHOULISH to be unearthed as it deals with the shocking paraphilia of necrophilia (which was performed during the crimes of serial killers like Ted Bundy, The Green River Killer- Gary Ridgway, and even a bit by the man who inspired "Leatherface" ED GEIN). R.I.P. to Chad Armstrong, the executive that had set up GHOULISH for release in 2017. In a sad turn of events, Mr. Armstrong passed away suddenly after a surprise cancer diagnosis. His new company would have been a blessing for Independent Horror Filmmakers and genre fans alike.

A lot of fans have been emailing me about the progression of the next SLEEPAWAY CAMP. Here's what I can tell you: the new script has been written (by creator Robert Hiltzik) and it is a reboot. But don't let the word "reboot" scare you. I too have seen what reboots can do to a great movie franchise and I'm here to let you know: This is no NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET type of reboot that strips away all the scares and can't even manage to do one effect better than the original made more than 25 years prior. The SLEEPAWAY reboot contains all the things that you love about SLEEPAWAY CAMP with even more twists! Your FAVORITE CHARACTERS and story elements are STILL HERE IN THE NEW SCREENPLAY but with a whole bunch of additional elements and characters to give you the ultimate SLEEPAWAY CAMP for the 2020s!!!

Sleepaway musician JOHN ALTYN (who made the highly enjoyable theme song "SLEEPAWAY" which was the theme of Part III: TEENAGE WASTELAND) is attempting to save a woods preserve and filmmaker Derek Young has started a GoFundMe for him. If you'd be interested in helping John save some beautiful land, you can view the campaign here: https://www.gofundme.com/save-maples-on-the-pond-preserve

SLEEPAWAY SCREENINGS have once again made the rounds at various theaters across the U.S. this year and continue with a screening in Germany this November (the 35th anniversary of our beloved camp slasher classic)!
