Camp Arawak Murder Tour and Summer Screenings
Hope everyone is enjoying the camping season! Boy, do we got a surprise for you! For years, fans have been asking about what has become of the original CAMP ARAWAK. The property has been privately owned for years and closed to the public… but get ready campers because we are gonna take you there on a Murder Tour where it all began. The full video will be hitting the site this fall…but until then, here is the preview to whet your appetite!
SCREENINGS, SCREENINGS, SCREENINGS! Not only is summer the camping season but it’s also when theaters are screening “Sleepaway Camp”… And not just regular screenings, festival screenings all across the world! Just this month, Director Robert Hiltzik and I arranged for a screening in Vienna, Austria!
This summer also found screenings we set up at the New Beverly in California, the Los Angeles theater owned by Quentin Tarantino! And even in the witch city of Salem, MA. But the most intimate screening of all took place August 6th when the screening that Robert and I arranged with Kenny Caperton for his phenomenal On Set Cinema series took place right on the beach where “Kenny” was found under the canoe! Here are a couple of photos from this Awesome event:
And it looks like the “Sleepaway” series is being set aside for a movie again instead of a limited edition series. The movie biz is crazier than ever right now with pandemic precautions changing things, companies switching hands, and even big budgeted movies being scrapped after already shooting (like “Batgirl” with Michael Keaton returning as “Batman”)! So anything goes in the entertainment biz. As of August 2022, Robert Hiltzik is working on finishing up the tweaked reboot script.
And last but not least: We are also pleased to announce the release of the gory thriller “Fragments Of A Ghoulish Mind” on Amazon Prime. Check that out here. You can check out the fantastic article MOVIEWEB did on the flick right here. We were originally planning for a Halloween-time release, but Amazon decided to release it early to our surprise. At any rate, it is now available to rent or purchase on Amazon streaming… or check it out at Halloween time, which is when a large portion of the movie takes place!
