Robert Hiltzik IFC Q&A and Camp Arawak Events

July 28, 2024 – A very rare appearance by Robert Hiltzik took place at THE IFC CENTER in New York City where Hiltzik did a Q&A and met excited fans at the SOLD OUT screening! After a conversation with IFC director Caitlin Crowley, Robert took questions from the enthusiastic crowd and concluded the event by happily signing Sleepaway Camp merchandise for free. Robert has not appeared at a SLEEPAWAY CAMP event since SLEEPAWAY CAMP REUNION II at Monstermania in 2009!

August 5 and 6, 2024 – On Set Cinema returned to Sleepaway Camp for its third year on the location of the original Camp Arawak, once again organized by Kenny Caperton and Jeff Hayes. This year, Jeff brought in Frank Saladino ("Gene-O") to the privately-owned location to hang out with fans, sign autographs, and even perform a live acoustic guitar set for a wonderful group of amazed fans! This event made Frank the first principal actor from the movie to RETURN to the location since the film was shot in 1982. You can view a fun video of the event HERE.
